"All the leaves are brown...And the sky is grey"

" I've been for a walk...On a winter's day"

Well fall has come and gone and it's already December, I know one of my new years resolutions will be to find more time to blog. I mean I am sure you are all just waiting with baited breath anxious for more Smithtown happenings and pictures of the B. ;)

It was another crazy busy few months. I was in Logan with McKenna when her new baby boy Quincy arrived in September and then October and Halloween were here. We managed to get up to Logan again for the annual Pumpkin walk that we have attended 4 years in a row (I think). The kids love it, but I think I love it even more and it is definitely worth the drive to come up and spend some time in the gorgeous fall weather and hang out with McKenna.

 Boo at the Zoo!

Took Bailey to see Beauty and the Beast the musical. We all loved it!
Halloween was super fun this year and Bailey genuinely loved her Marilyn Monroe costume. She loved everything about it. The wig, the beauty mark or the "cutie mark" as she called it, the red lipstick, her twirly dress and white fur coat. She loved her Halloween parade at school and being able to go trick or treating at our church trunk or treat and around our neighborhood. It was pretty fun and I don't know how we will top it next year. We are already in the planning stages and have narrowed down next years costumes to several winners - I hope.

November flew by and before we knew it we were in Idaho Falls to see my parents and Brinn's family for Thanksgiving. It was a small group, but still plenty loud and lots of fun. We ate delicious food and played some fun games. Playing apples to apples with my dad was pretty hilarious. McKenna and family came up the day after Thanksgiving to play and celebrate at Bailey's birthday party. It was a Shopkins themed party and I went a little overboard to say the least. It's not my fault - It's genetic and I got it from my mom. It was a fabulous party filled with, coloring, a dance party, a pinata, going to see the new Moana movie, and then pizza and cake. It was a long party, but really fun and Bailey loved every minute of it. We ended with a bang when the pizza we were cooking lit on fire. But luckily we caught it in time and tragedy was avoided and it made for a really funny memory.

Disney on Ice!

Now here we are at December. We are headed to Arizona and are excited to see Lauren's family and the Smith family while we are down there. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful people in our lives. We hope you have a wonderful December and Christmas. We will see you next year for more adventures.
