"I always feel like somebody's watching me..."

Happy almost Halloween Adventurers! Boo!!!!

We are pretty excited for Halloween in our household. Bailey and myself were able to go up to Logan to see McKenna and her kiddos - (and my mom even came) to attend this years annual pumpkin walk. This was our third year going and it was as fun and super cool as its been in the past. It is amazing to see what people can create with pumpkins. The kids of course had a blast.

Took Lots of Pictures of the Dumb and Dumber Display for Daddy
"Back to the Future" and "Inside Out" were a couple of the favorites

Bailey and Carter like each other quite a bit. It's adorable

We also managed to find some time to go to a pumpkin patch with the Bailey. It is finally getting cooler, but we have definitely been enjoying the unseasonably warmer weather while we can. 70's and sunny is pretty enjoyable.

We are also super happy that Trevor's parents came up for a quick visit before Janis (my mother in law) had to have double knee replacement surgery in Arizona. Heal fast and feel better and we will see you soon. Trevor has been enjoying his Utah football season tickets - even more now that his dad will be able to attend some games with him. Go Utes!

Bailey also attended another (boy) friends birthday party where she was one of only a handful of girls in attendance and the only girl not related to the birthday boy. She managed to go on rides with several boys at once and hold hands with one of the boys throughout most of the party. Funny and adorable.

November is going to be another fun filled month. We are taking Bailey to Disneyland (for her birthday) and I am not sure who is more excited out of our entire household. We are also going to the beach and show her the ocean. Then we will head to Arizona for Thanksgiving and family fun as well as a little pre-birthday celebration. I can't believe my baby girl is going to be 4 soon. How is that possible?!! Anyway - great firsts and celebrations are on the way. We send the best to all of our adventurers. Until next time - enjoy some Halloween attire and silliness.

"Do you remember...dancing in September..."

Well Adventurers - how has your September been? Ours has been busy as usual and our household has definitely been dancing. I am having a hard time believing that it's almost October. This year has really flown by.

We have also mostly completed Bailey's new big girl room. Complete with Female Super Hero Letters. Each letter is another female marvel character. Trevor said we didn't want to mix Universes, (Marvel and DC) as that would just confuse Bailey. Oh okay -goofball.

We are still having summer like weather and are taking advantage as much as we can before the snow comes. That is if the snow comes. Last year was super mild which I didn't necessarily mind, but one of these days it will be jacket weather again and I am more than ready.

We took the Bailey girl miniature golfing and bowling this month and she definitely has some skills. She seems to be a naturally great bowler as she legitimately beat both Trevor and myself. Not sure how I feel about the fact she is so good at bowling. Miniature golf might take a little more practice. She didn't understand she shouldn't just throw or kick the ball closer to the hole. We will keep working on it. Funny girl.

She also got to celebrate her cousins birthday at "Kangaroo Zoo" with fun slides and plenty of things to climb and jump on. It was super fun and she was super excited to have the party continue into a slumber party where the girls wore matching pajamas.

Time with baby H
Holder of the girls bows. Ha!
Thanks to that slumber party and Trevor being busy at comic-con I was able to go out and party with some friends. Sushi and karaoke until 11pm was a fantastic way to celebrate my fabulous friend Tracy's birthday. I can't remember the last time I went out and stayed out so late. I was more than a little tired the next morning when I had to drop off Trevor by 8am to see Chris Evans (Captain America), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon). I will make him write about his experience at comic-con and include several pictures for your viewing pleasure in an upcoming post. He had a great time and I managed to swing by for a few hours on the first day - thanks to a free ticket from a friend. It was crazy, but super fun.

Now here comes October and Halloween. Bailey is super excited for her Elle Woods costume and we are still working on some phrases to go with her fabulous ensemble. "What like it's hard?" November will be here before we know it and we are getting really excited for our trip to Disneyland to celebrate Bailey's 4th birthday. How can she be 4?! Everyone think happy cooler weather thoughts. Welcome back to the U S of A to Trevor's parents who just got home from another mission. Maybe we can convince them to stick around for a little while this time. Until next time - keep on keeping on.
