Smith Grandparents Come to Visit! (Did they bring the Arizona heat with them?)

It's been a super hot July and I don't know how I am functioning. I've mentioned this before, but I really do not enjoy the heat. Pretty much anything above 90 is a no win for me, but we braved the heat and ventured out as much as we could. We had a visit from Trevor's parents for their mission reunion and Bailey would have happily stayed and lived at that park where it was held for days if not forever. It had a sweet zipline and a super awesome playground. I kept having to make Bailey get water and she looked red and sunburned about 3 minutes after playing. Oh my poor fair and freckled child. Stay hydrated!!!

I don't think the shoe is going to fit. ;)

Tea Party with Grandma and Great Aunt Grace

Grandma and Grandpa took Bailey to Kangaroo Zoo for some climbing and sliding fun!

Bailey learned how to play duck hunt. It was hilarious and awesome!

I also received a few birthday prizes from my friend Angie. A sweet "As You Wish" pin, a black and white still from Princess Bride and an Angel (from Buffy) action figure. Many of you know of mine and Cary Elwes's mutual affection of one another and the special moment that David Boreanaz and I once shared on a New York City sidewalk. Happy Birthday to me! Ha!

"Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah..."

"Why don't you and I combi-ineLet's get together, what do you sayWe can have a swingin' ti-imeWe'd be a cra-a-azy teamWhy don't we ma-a-ake a scene? Together, oh oh oh oh..."

Granat Family fun was the theme for part of July when my parents take the older grandkids on the annual grandparent trip and we and my siblings try to get together. Everyone but Dalan was able to make it for several fun days in Idaho. Me and my sisters had a particularly fun time and had fun sleepovers for days. We also manages to watch almost the entire and only season of a wonderful and cancelled much too soon vampire show called Moonlight. It and Mick St.John vampire detective made the week super enjoyable. The younger cousins played together and sometimes without even planning it - matched together as did McKenna and I. Ha.

You know we did some karaoke and dancing!

Downata Hot Springs fun happened too!

Movie Star? So glamorous! Hahahaha!

Driving home shenanigans. She's singing the new song Evermore from Beauty and the Beast. Can't you tell?!

"It might seem crazy what I am about to say.."

"...Sunshine she's here, you can take a break."

What a July we have had. We were so lucky in the first part of the month to see my sister Kirse and her family and Trevor's sister Janette and hers. We only get to see them a couple times a year so it's pretty awesome to get to hang out.

I also managed to see one of my best friends Betsy while she was in town. She is moving out of the country in the fall and who knows when we will get to hang out next. We also had Trevor's best friends family come visit. Bailey and their little boy Ethan had lots of fun.

Bailey and myself tagged along with Janette and family to Cowabunga Bay which we have never been to before. We will definitely be going back. It was a blast. We also had a little shopping outing with the girls and went to a movie with everyone and even had fireworks for the visiting Arizonans. It was a great and  super fun fourth of July.

Enough fry sauce? Hahaha!

We went to a movie with Tim and Kirse while her kids watched Bailey - it was perfect. Bailey even has some art time with the T-Dawg.

When you accidentally let your 5 year old try on a $5,000 fur vest without looking at the price tag.
