"Take the last train to Clarksville..."

"...And I'll meet you at the station"

Happy Easter Adventurers!

I'm sure this will be shocking, but it's been another crazy few weeks for us. There were no planes involved, but definitely some trains and automobiles.

We thought it would be really fun or slightly terrifying to take the Heber Creeper train ride with the Easter Bunny. Many kids were scared, but Bailey loved it and even got to dance with the bunny. It was a beautiful setting and a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, while we were there we got a phone call that our faithful minivan (Big Red) needed to be put down and we would need to get a new car - preferable that day or weekend as it could die at anytime. So after we came down the canyon we headed directly to a car dealership with the plan to just look around. Well, we looked and we found. We got a new red minivan and her name is Scarlet Witch and we are spoiled with this fancy new ride. The automatic doors and DVD player are definitely our favorite features.  Bring on the road trips!

Easter morning came and the Easter Bunny definitely remembered Bailey from the day before and spoiled her. She loved all her fun stuff - especially the huge surprise egg and new prince dolls etc. We are grateful for how blessed we are and continue to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We can't believe the school year is just around the corner and Bailey will be heading to Kindergarten in just a few months. I am lucky that I get to help out in her class frequently so I can catch this cuteness. It's Bailey and her (she calls him)  boyfriend Liam who she's planning on marrying. It's good to have a plan in life I suppose. Ha. Until next time....

Maybe it's still a little cold for swimming...

"Sunshine on my Shoulders Makes Me Happy...."

Springtime in Utah is always an adventure. Much like the Smithtown household.

Bailey is still loving Preschool and continues to rule the school. She has playdates as often as possible and I am really happy for the great friends she has made. She rocked pajama day at school and we have even started planning our Halloween attire. I know I am a bit crazy, but it definitely takes time to help Bailey realize what she wants to be for Halloween. ;) Haha. I'm the worst, but I can only help her decide for another year or two before her opinions get even stronger and louder. I'll enjoy it while I can.

We had some real mommy daughter fun when she got her first manicure and pedicure recently. We will definitely be doing that again. We have also been enjoying the beautiful weather and flowers a lot and enjoying spending time outside.

We also made it to the zoo to see on of my college roommates and her cute family. The weather was perfect and we will enjoy the temperature until it gets much to hot for me to be outside for longer than 5 minutes at a time.
