"School's Out For Summer..."

I don't know how it happened, but June is here and we have an excited preschool graduate. I have loved her teachers and the program and the school and am really excited she will be going to the same school in the fall.

We also made a trip to Idaho for both Mother's Day and my moms birthday. We (my siblings and myself) really wanted to spoil and go a little overboard for her birthday and Mother's Day to let her know how much we appreciate and love her. We got her some of her favorite flowers and her favorites treats and several massages. She was super surprised and appreciative. It was our first road trip and Bailey and I had an awesome time in the ridiculously roomy middle seat. McKenna was also able to come up and we took her to lunch and I made her a couple dozen deviled eggs as requested while I was there too. My dad even played some board games with the kids which was pretty adorable. It was a great weekend and it was fun to spoil and surprise my mom.

"Take the last train to Clarksville..."

"...And I'll meet you at the station"

Happy Easter Adventurers!

I'm sure this will be shocking, but it's been another crazy few weeks for us. There were no planes involved, but definitely some trains and automobiles.

We thought it would be really fun or slightly terrifying to take the Heber Creeper train ride with the Easter Bunny. Many kids were scared, but Bailey loved it and even got to dance with the bunny. It was a beautiful setting and a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, while we were there we got a phone call that our faithful minivan (Big Red) needed to be put down and we would need to get a new car - preferable that day or weekend as it could die at anytime. So after we came down the canyon we headed directly to a car dealership with the plan to just look around. Well, we looked and we found. We got a new red minivan and her name is Scarlet Witch and we are spoiled with this fancy new ride. The automatic doors and DVD player are definitely our favorite features.  Bring on the road trips!

Easter morning came and the Easter Bunny definitely remembered Bailey from the day before and spoiled her. She loved all her fun stuff - especially the huge surprise egg and new prince dolls etc. We are grateful for how blessed we are and continue to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We can't believe the school year is just around the corner and Bailey will be heading to Kindergarten in just a few months. I am lucky that I get to help out in her class frequently so I can catch this cuteness. It's Bailey and her (she calls him)  boyfriend Liam who she's planning on marrying. It's good to have a plan in life I suppose. Ha. Until next time....

Maybe it's still a little cold for swimming...
